Active Lego with Sensory Explorers (Blanchardstown)

Lego Sessions with a twist! Children can find focusing or staying seated for an entire Lego session too difficult. Active Lego includes floor stations with STEM sets and gross motor skill obstacle courses while the session takes place.

World Athletics Continental Tour 

Autonomous Car Lesson

Learn how to programme an autonomous car. Participants will learn about how autonomous cars work, create a Scratch project, add and manipulate a car sprite, draw a test track, and program the car to navigate the track autonomously.

Castleknock Music Festival

Race Autonomous Cars with Coding Ireland

Learn how to program toy cars to follow the lines around a track. Each team will get test runs and the cars will then compete in a series of fun races. Children will get an introduction to coding, microcomputers, autonomous cars and how to use sensors to follow a track.

Robin and Pip with Margaret Anne Suggs

Children’s author and illustrator Margaret Anne Suggs will read from her new book Robin and Pip – a story about an anxious little bird, Robin, and his friend Pip, a wise apple tree. Children will then make their own Robin puppets!
