The exhibition, ‘Along the Coast and Through the Trees’, showcases artworks recently acquired from the artist for inclusion in Fingal County Council’s Municipal Art Collection. The Irish Times has described Pamela as a master of capturing light and dark across the Irish landscape. While her work features much-loved landscapes all over Ireland, it is Pamela’s connection to her home in Howth that has inspired her depictions of local coastal scenes and local flora and fauna.

Visitors will have the rare opportunity to explore the breadth of her expert printing and drawing techniques, including her pioneering methodology of layering vibrant, multi-colour schemes using just two plates. Alongside her critically acclaimed landscapes, Leonard’s work was featured on 16 An Post stamps and won a prestigious international award in Japan. This dedication to her lifetime body of work reflects Fingal’s ongoing commitment to support and preserve the legacies of local artists at every stage of their careers.
