The Donabate Portrane Summer Festival is a community run family focused fun event,

consisting of the following activities:

Funfair / Carnival, 

Street Entertainment, 

Sensory Evening for patrons with additional needs

Live music and dance featuring local acts and

professional acts (from various parts of Ireland)

Bingo,

Magic Show

Make your Kite

Novelty Races for kids & adults

Fireworks

Food & Drink Stalls

Craft Fair

Exotic Animals (Stall)

We also link in with Swim Ireland for their open water swimming event which takes place

on the Sunday of our event.

The event runs over 3 days: Friday Evening August 7th, Saturday August 8th and Sunday August 9th 2026.
