Nathan Carter
Success led to Nathan moving to Ireland to follow his dream of becoming a professional entertainer in January 2010. His career took off almost immediately. Single-handedly he revived the live music scene in Ireland attracting young fans in their thousands. Following the phenomenal success of the iconic hit song ‘Wagon Wheel’ in 2012, Nathan became an established star in Ireland, outselling One Direction and Drake.
Number 1 Albums..
Nathan has recorded six number one albums in Ireland and has had a top 20 UK album release with the CD `Beautiful Life’.
Nathan’s latest album ‘The Best of the First Ten Years’ released in November 2020 went straight to Number One in the Irish Album Charts – and this at a time when he was unable to perform live gigs due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Songwriting Talent..
The top selling album includes the self-penned original single 'Wings to Fly’.
As well as being a leading performer and vocalist, Nathan has been busy honing his craft as a songwriter and this is just one of the many hit songs he has penned .
Major Performances..
One of Nathan’s greatest accolades was when he was invited to sing for Pope Francis during his visit to Ireland in 2018. There were 60,000 people gathered for a welcoming ceremony in Croke Park Dublin. The event was televised worldwide with millions tuning in to watch.
In fact Nathan, at the age of 11, had already performed for The Pope when he was on a trip to Rome as head chorister with The Liverpool Boys Choir. Singing for Popes is second nature for this humble star now.
In a few short years Nathan Carter has established himself as one of the most popular and best all-round entertainers in Ireland packing the biggest venues available including the 3 Arena in Dublin and the SSE Arena in Belfast.
