Join us for a night among the stars and expand your mind with cosmic insights from the astronomers of DIAS Dunsink Observatory!

Dunsink is Ireland’s oldest astronomical observatory and was once the home of one of Ireland’s greatest mathematicians, Sir William Rowan Hamilton. Today, DIAS astrophysicists study solar explosions, search for new stars and planets, and scan the universe for exotic astronomical objects.
The programme includes a self-guided tour of the 18th-century observatory and the Victorian engineering of the South Telescope built by Grubb of Dublin.
All welcome!

Advance booking is required via Eventbrite.
Tickets are valid for one-hour tours starting at either
6:00pm (18:00) or 8:00pm (20:00).
