Fingal County Council Expands St Patrick’s Day Celebrations

Mon 23rd Feb 2026

Fingal County Council is gearing up for a massive celebration on Ireland’s National Day, with seven St Patrick’s Day parades taking place across the county on Tuesday, 17 March.

The eight local family-friendly parades will bring colour, music and movement to the streets. Expect musicians, dancers, community groups and sports clubs, performers and plenty of personality showcasing who we are as a community.

Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Tom O’Leary said: “It’s fantastic to see eight parades taking place across the county this year as we mark St Patrick’s Day. The level of community involvement from local groups and organisations to volunteers and businesses reflects the pride and spirit that we have for this occasion.

“I wish to invite you all to line the streets, cheer your friends and neighbours on and share this day with each other as we celebrate our community connections, the magic of Irish culture and our deep love of ancient traditions.”

Parades this year will include:
